Tripped circuit breaker, lid not fully closed, child lock activated, or a faulty lid switch sensor
Fix
Check the power cord, reset any tripped breaker, confirm the lid is shut, and deactivate child lock. Try unplugging for 60 seconds to reset the control board.

If the display lights up but won't run a cycle, the lid switch is the prime suspect — not a power supply fault.

Washer not draining — water sitting in drum
Standing water after a cycle is one of the most searched washing machine problems in Dubai. Hard water mineral deposits clog the drain pump filter faster here than anywhere else.

Clogged drain pump filter, kinked drain hose, or a failed drain pump motor.
Fix
Check for kinks in the drain hose at the back. Clear the pump filter (usually behind a small front access panel). Run a spin-only cycle. If water still won't drain, the pump may need replacement.

The drain hose should sit no more than 15 cm into the standpipe — too deep causes a siphoning effect and prevents drainage.

Washer not spinning — clothes soaking wet
